Ken is a founding partner of Traner Smith, in business since 1994. Ken studied Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting at Washington State University. He has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and achieved the AICPA Personal Financial Specialist (PFS).
After graduating from Washington State University, he worked at national accounting firm, Pannell Kerr Forster in Seattle, Washington until 1990 when he joined Clothier & Head, PS a large local Seattle accounting firm and was admitted as a Partner in 1992.
Ken serves clients throughout the US and World Wide with an emphasis in tax planning and preparation business and personal, high net worth client service, and cross border and international transactions. Ken is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Washington State Society of CPA’s.
Ken is the Treasurer of Camp Korey, a Hole in the Wall Camp, Past President Everett Golf & Country Club, Past Treasurer of the National Football League Northwest Alumni Association.
