Kenneth G. Smith is one of two founding partners of Traner Smith & Co. established in 1994. Ken graduated from Washington State University in 1981 with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. He has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Washington since 1984 and achieved the AICPA Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation in December 2010.
Ken worked as a Staff Accountant to Manager level at a national accounting firm, Pannell Kerr Forster in Seattle, Washington until 1990. Ken joined Clothier & Head, PS a large local Seattle accounting firm in 1990 and admitted as a Partner in 1992.
Ken serves clients throughout the US and Canada with an emphasis in tax planning and preparation, preparing financial statements and has 32 years of experience in such engagements. Ken is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Washington State Society of CPA’s.
Ken is the Treasurer of Camp Korey, a Hole in the Wall camp in Carnation, Washington since 2004. Ken is the past President and Board Member of Everett Golf & Country Club in Everett, Washington and past Treasurer of the National Football League Northwest Alumni Association.
